Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using PlugMap ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

PlugMap is a mobile application that helps electric vehicle (EV) drivers locate nearby public charging stations. Charger data is provided by the Open Charge Map community database and may not be complete or up to date. PlugMap is provided free of charge.

User Accounts

You may sign in with a Google account, an Apple Account, or create an account using an email address.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You may only create one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to abuse the service is prohibited.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Guest Mode

You may use the App without creating an account by choosing Guest mode. Guest sessions are temporary and anonymous. Favourites and preferences saved in guest mode will be lost if you uninstall the App or sign out.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account.
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the App or our services.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
Use the App to transmit spam, malware, or harmful content.
Misuse the App in a way that causes excessive billing or load on Firebase or any third-party service.

Charger Data Accuracy

      Charging station data is sourced from the Open Charge Map community database.
      PlugMap does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or real-time availability
      of any charger listing. Always verify charger availability before travelling.
      PlugMap is not liable for any inconvenience or damage resulting from inaccurate
      or outdated charger information.
    

Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in PlugMap — including the PlugMap name, logo, and user interface — is the property of Fahad Tariq and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the App without prior written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

PlugMap is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fahad Tariq and PlugMap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

Third-Party Links & Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or launch third-party apps (e.g. Google Maps for directions). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any third-party services.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective when posted to this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Fahad Tariq is based, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
